Wequassett Resort and Golf Club overlooks Pleasant Bay on 27 acres. After marking its 100th anniversary and completing a $12 million renovation, the resort remains one of Cape Cod’s most complete luxury stays.

Its Wampanoag-derived name means “crescent on the water,” a fitting description for a property organized around the bay, gardens, beaches, and outdoor life.

Design & Character

Interiors favor classic New England restraint over obvious nautical motifs, using soft palettes, natural light, and relaxed furnishings. Outside, horticulturist Tom Hatch and his team maintain the grounds with almost obsessive care.

The Rooms

The 120 rooms, suites, cottages, and villas are distributed across the resort for privacy. Whitewashed wood, blue-grey tones, grasscloth, and linen keep the rooms bright, while select suites add air-jetted soaking tubs or private water-view balconies.

Food & Drink

Executive chef James Hackney leads the resort’s dining program. Twenty-Eight Atlantic handles fine dining, Outer Bar serves seafood and casual lunches overlooking the pools and bay, and The Sill offers coffee and pastries for quick mornings.

The resort’s range of restaurants is broad enough that guests can stay on property without dining fatigue.

Amenities & Neighborhood

Programming includes oyster cultivation experiences, nature tours, horticulture walks, tennis, pickleball, Cape Cod National Golf Club access, two private beaches, cabanas, and complimentary afternoon ice cream from a vintage Good Humor truck.

Complimentary shuttles run to Chatham, while a BMW partnership provides stylish transportation within ten miles.
