Marshmallows roasting over an open fire pit, a dip in a bubbling jacuzzi, an endless view of the starry sky, a glass of wine in hand… That’s what every night looks like at Mira Earth Studios.

Tucked away in the hills of Valle de Guadalupe in Baja California, Mexico, Mira is a magical property comprising 10 identical standalone studios that seamlessly blend in with hills of the ranch. The studios are made of a mix of earth-toned concrete and rammed earth sourced from the land they sit on, giving the property a unique organic feel true to the valle. To help the studios conform with the landscape even more, the roofs are adorned with native desert plants.

On the upper platform of the studio is the king-sized bed adorned with crisp linens and a fluffy duvet, as well as the bathroom, which is equipped with two sinks, a rainfall showerhead, and organic amenities. The best part of the bathroom is the in-room sauna, perfect for relaxing before a massage or detoxing after a few too many glasses of wine. Down a couple steps to the lower platform is the open lounge area, dining table, and kitchenette, which is so well-stocked, you could stay holed up in your studio for days at a time.

The pièce de résistance of the studio is the private terrace, connected to the rest of the room via floor-to-ceiling windows that fully open to completely let the outside come in. The terrace offers panoramic views of the surrounding vineyards and features both a gas fire pit and jacuzzi. It’s the most serene space, optimized for getting cozy, stargazing, and truly getting out of your mind.

The hotel also has a variety of wellness and adventurous offerings, including horseback riding and stylized picnics on the ranch, tours of the valle in classic cars, in-room massages, yoga classes, and sound baths, and much more.

Each of Mira Earth’s studios feels like its own secluded escape, offering ultimate privacy and the most peaceful retreat that you’ll never want to leave.
